This in-depth webinar looks at how trauma and adverse childhood experiences impact the health
of individuals and minority populations, particularly the impact during
COVID-19. As clinicians, we have seen the traumatic effect of COVID-19, exacerbating the already large
racial/ethnic disparities of health. Our
distinguished panel of presenters will put into this context the effects of
trauma on adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), adverse community experiences on
minority populations, primary care approaches to PTSD and the medical sequelae
of trauma and a focus on Trauma-Informed Care (TIC) principles that you can use in
your individual patient encounters.
