Trauma-Informed Care During COVID-19: Key Concepts and Applications for Frontline Providers

This in-depth webinar looks at how trauma and adverse childhood experiences impact the health of individuals and minority populations, particularly the impact during COVID-19.  As clinicians, we have seen the traumatic effect of COVID-19, exacerbating the already large racial/ethnic disparities of health. Our distinguished panel of presenters will put into this context the effects of trauma on adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), adverse community experiences on minority populations, primary care approaches to PTSD and the medical sequelae of trauma and a focus on Trauma-Informed Care (TIC) principles that you can use in your individual patient encounters.
