This Keynote Plenary session at the SGIM21 Annual Meeting was presented by LaShyra "Lash" Nolen—the first Black woman to become student council president at Harvard Medical School. Ms. Nolen draws on her experiences as a student leader to demonstrate the ways health professionals can create meaningful change for our communities through intentional leadership, social media, writing, and community activism.
